About Ribbon Place 

Sonja Marnewick and Gugulethu Ngubeni, the owners of Ribbon Place have been operational in the gift packaging and event entertainment industries since 2007. We understand not only our product, but also your event requirements for it! Ribbon Place offers custom branded ribbon printing services to the South African market. We have been instrumental in launching and rolling out large gifting and retail packaging campaigns together with major retailers. Due to our experience and professionalism you can be assured of reliable fast service and fantastic quality work.

Ribbon Place consist of two parts:

The online shop

Under the care of Sonja Marnewick – we sell regular in stock items like plain or decorative ribbon rolls that include: satin, organza, petersham, baker’s twine, unbranded lanyards, unbranded wristbands, various banners and bows and awareness ribbons.  All of these items are available in single units or small quantities because the goal of our online shop is to bring ribbons typically only
available in wholesale sizes into the retail market in affordable sizes to the normal person on the street.

The online shop division also sells GoDex GE300 Thermal Ribbon Printers to crafters or hopeful small business owners.  I am responsible for training, sales and after market care of these machines, accessories and consumables such as resin and printable ribbon (all available in the online shop)

The B2B division

This part of our operation under the watchful eye of Gugulethu Ngubeni and works exclusively with branded and custom made items such as branded single use event wristbands, Custom Printed branded ribbons, lanyards, banners, sashes and custom made bows for confectionary or other retail projects. 

Minimum order quantities do apply to our custom branded items:

Wash-care and Brand Labels (500/1000)
Branded Gifting or Event Ribbon (200 meters)
Lanyards (100+ units)
Branded Event Wristbands ( 500+ units)
